
Frank M. Roby
Chairman and CEO
Frank Roby is the founder and Chairman for Concero Global, Inc. Formed in 2008, Mr. Roby has guided the company through market adjustments to concentrate on globally relevant solutions to health care, education and energy efficiency.
Prior to the formation of Concero Global, Inc, Mr. Roby served as CEO of Holmes Murphy Texas, where he was also an owner and member of the Board of Directors of the holding company. Holmes Murphy is one of the regions’ largest health care and employee benefit advisory firms. Under his leadership the Texas organization grew at an annual compound rate of over 20% for 17 years.
In addition, Mr. Roby joined Empower African Children as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors in 2010. They are dedicated to realizing the promise of Africa’s youth through long term, deeply rooted commitments designed to provide transformative learning experiences, global connections, and preparation for a lifetime of influence.
Mr. Roby’s extensive non-profit and NGO experiences have provided a unique perspective on human capacity. Projects have included work in China, India, Israel (including the West Bank), Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Nepal and Uganda. Along with conversations with visiting delegations from numerous Middle Eastern, Asian and African countries, these experiences have provided insight into how impressions are formed and how they affect market development.
Currently, he serves as a Board member for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, St. Stephens Hospital in Delhi, India and Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. He is also a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations and the Dallas Assembly.
Previous Board level experiences have included the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Ft. Worth and the North Texas Food Bank. In education, Mr. Roby was Chairman of the Talent/Workforce/Education Committee of the Greater Dallas Chamber, the International Business Council of the Chamber, a member of the Dallas Achieves Commission for Dallas ISD, a District Representative of the Dallas ISD Bond Committee and a member of the University of Texas at Dallas Development Board.
Mr. Roby is active in his church, First UMC in downtown Dallas, and within the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is married to Rev. Linda Roby and they have three grown children and five grandchildren (numbers 6 and 7 are on the way).
